St Laurence’s Church
Through our daily acts of Collective Worship, prayers and attendance at Family Services in the Church, we aim to support children in understanding Christian values for life. We are well supported by weekly visits from the Local clergy from ‘The Two Rivers Benefice’ to the school.
We regularly attend Family Services at St Laurence’s Church, these usually take place on the third Wednesday of the month. Services begin at 9.30am, unless stated otherwise, and you are very welcome to stay at school after the morning drop off and have a cup of coffee before these services start. Please do come along and join us in worship.
The children take part in traditional services at key times throughout the year, including Harvest Festival, Christmas Nativity/Carol Service and Easter. We invite parents, friends and family to join us for these celebrations.
This year our theme was a musical harvest. The children all played a large part in leading our collective worship in our church, with their thoughtful Bible readings, prayers and songs.
We had so many food donations this year which will go to our local food-bank.
